Day by Day

DAY 1 – in Bariloche

You will begin your tour to Bariloche taking off from Buenos Aires airport. Once you land in Bariloche, a tourist guide from ATN Travel Services will be waiting for you with a sign with your last name on it to transfer you to your hotel in Bariloche. In the afternoon, we will pick you up to take you on a half-day tour entitled «Small Circuit». This tour wanders along the shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake and will allow you to witness an exquisite panoramic view of the region of the lakes and the Andes around San Carlos de Bariloche, the most impressive mountains of the region!

Afterwards, we will visit the Huemul Island, Campanario Hill, and Llao Llao Peninsula with its spectacular 5-star hotel, as well as the beautiful San Eduardo Chapel and other equally breathtaking spots.

DAY 2 – in Bariloche

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day excursion to «Victoria’s Island» and «Arrayanes Woods». This is an excursion by Catamaran to Victoria’s Island and Arrayanes Woods. The trip begins by departing from Puerto Pañuelo and, after sailing for 2 hours, we will arrive at Victoria’s Island, where you can walk along several different paths and visit a flourishing, coniferous nursery garden. After visiting Victoria’s Island we will get on board again and ride up to Quetrihue’s Peninsula to visit the world-famous Arrayanes Woods, boasting one of the most unique forest formations in the world with centenary specimens.

DAY 3 – in Bariloche

Free day for optional tours – we suggest visiting Villa La Angostura city or El Bolsón and Puelo Lake.

DAY 4 – in Bariloche y El Calafate

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Once you land in El Calafate airport a tourist guide from ATN Travel Services will be waiting for you with a sign with your last name on it to transfer you to your hotel in El Calafate city. Check in and free time in the afternoon.

DAY 5 – in El Calafate

Breakfast in the hotel and departure for the full day tour entitled «Perito Moreno Glacier and Nautical Safari». On the tour, you will visit one of the greatest marvels of the world: the Perito Moreno Glacier, declared a World Heritage. You will begin the tour by going to the floating quay of the southern branch of the Argentinean Lake, where you will ride across the Ice Floe Canal up to the front of the Perito Moreno Glacier to see its typical ice slides.

Then, you will come across the footbridges which are very near to the ice wall. There will be enough time for you to enjoy the glacier spectacle, and also be witness to the famous ice detachment phenomena, in which you can hear the hollow sounds of ice falling and thus becoming smaller floating glaciers. There are some experiences that leave marks in our lives, and watching the Perito Moreno is definitely one of them.

DAY 6 – in El Calafate

You will have breakfast in the hotel and after that our tour guide will pick you up to take you on the full day tour entitled «Rio de Hielos Express».

At the beginning of the tour, you will head to Punta Bandera pier to take a catamaran trip on the Argentine Lake. First, you will visit the northern part of the lake where you can observe the amazing icebergs floating adrift, and then you will see the fantastic Upsala Glacier where you will meet a spectacular Ice Barrier whose area of 800 square kilometers is equal to 4 times the city of Buenos Aires! After you pass the front wall of this glacier, the ride continues to see the highest Glacier in the National Park, the Spegazzini Glacier where you also can observe the dry glacier and finally you will return through the Boca de Diablo (Devil’s Mouth), which is the narrowest part of the lake . After this awesome boat trip you will never forget El Calafate town and the Patagonia region. Fortunately, your films and photos will always remind you that it wasn’t a dream and that you certainly were there.

Note: The tour can be modified depending on weather conditions and on the captain of the vessel’s decision.

DAY 7 – in El Calafate

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Return to Buenos Aires. End of the El Calafate, Perito Moreno Glacier and Bariloche tour.
