Day by Day

DAY 1 – in Iguazú

You will begin your tour to Iguazú taking off from Buenos Aires airport. Once you land in Iguazu airport a tourist guide from ATN Travel Services will be waiting for you to give you the pickup times for the tours and to transfer you to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu. In the afternoon, our tour guide will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel in order to take the tour entitled «Ecological Circuit».

This is a half day tour that takes to visit the following tourist attractions:

HITO TRES FRONTERAS, It is the borderline between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina and the union of two rivers, the Parana and the Iguazu that determines these borderlines. The place is surrounded by a subtropical forest and there is a local fair where handcrafters offer their goods.

LA ARIPUCA ECO-TOURISM: A kind of theme park attempting to make visitors become aware of the effect of indiscriminate deforestation and take care of the environment, as well as showing what the Misiones rainforest used to be like. The word «Aripuca» derives from the name of a trap made by the Guaraní natives and used to catch animals without hurting them. This agricultural-ecological-tourist project belongs to the Waidelich family, who built a giant Aripuca in order to illustrate the richness of the Misiones forest.

GÜIRA – OGA: It is a wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and breeding center. The idea of this place is to rescue, recover and reintroduce specimens that get to this place whether because they have been victims of an accident, confiscated or delivered by regretful owners. A tour around the facilities will give evidence of the love for the animals, as well as of the maturity and the criterion this topic is dealt with.

DAY 2 – in Iguazú

After breakfast, we will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and you will leave for a full day excursion to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Upon arriving at the Iguazú National Park, you will take part of the excursion by the jungle train, that goes through wonders of the park, allowing visitors to walk and access different footbridges. You will be guided around several paths inside the National Park to witness the incredible view of more than 200 falls, visiting the green way, the upper and lower trails where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the falls as well as the delta of the Iguazú River, with its islands and lush vegetation and the Devil’s Throat path that is the farthest situated but the most impressive fall. At the end of the tour we will drop you off in the lobby of your hotel in Puerto Iguazú.

DAY 3 – in Iguazú

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the airport at the scheduled time. Flight back to Buenos Aires and end of our tour.

The tour includes:

• Transfers In/Out Airport – Hotel – Airport.

• Full-day tour to the Argentine side of the waterfalls.

• Half-day tour to the Ecological Circuit.

The tour doesn’t include:

•  Entrance fee to the National Park.

• Entrance fees to the Guira Oga and Aripuca.
